At Smith Agency Inc., our purpose is to provide compassionate, community-based services that empower children and adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Through individualized support, skill development, education, and care, we help individuals strengthen their personal, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities within safe, structured, and home-like environments.
We are committed to providing a continuum of person-centered services designed to meet the unique needs of each individual while promoting dignity, inclusion, personal growth, and meaningful participation within their communities.

Through compassionate care, education, life skills training, and individualized support services, we strive to help every individual reach their fullest potential while encouraging independence, personal achievement, community involvement, and lifelong success.

With more than two decades of experience in Human Resources across both for-profit and non-profit organizations, I have had the opportunity to work with many outstanding teams and missions. Joining Smith Agency Inc. in December 2021 has been especially meaningful because of the organization’s unwavering commitment to compassion, care, and service to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Each day, I have the privilege of witnessing the dedication, professionalism, and heart demonstrated by our Directors, Managers, Caregivers, Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Case Managers, Therapists, and support staff. The culture at Smith Agency is built on teamwork, respect, and a shared passion for making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.

Raegan Haefele, HR Assistant
Smith Agency Inc. is proud to have dedicated professionals like Raegan Haefele serving as our HR Assistant. Since joining Smith Agency in October 2023, Raegan has brought valuable Human Resources experience and a strong commitment to supporting both staff and the individuals we serve. With three years of experience in Human Resources and a degree in Psychology, Raegan plays an important role in helping ensure the agency remains aligned with CDHS regulations and guidelines while providing ongoing support to employees across all programs.
Raegan is passionate about fostering a supportive, professional, and compassionate workplace environment. Her focus on employee support, regulatory compliance, and staff development helps strengthen the agency’s mission of delivering the highest quality of care and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
